Account Representative - Sales

Salary: $39,000 + Commission

We are seeking a motivated Account Representative to grow our residential and small commercial heating oil customer base. This position is candidates who are driven by results, enjoy working in the field and the office, and want strong earning potential through an uncapped commission structure.

We'll provide the tools, support, training , and opportunity to succeed in energy sales.

What You'll Do

· Generate new customers through proactive prospecting and lead follow-up.

· Identify and enroll residential and small commercial energy customers.

· Canvass assigned territories to engage prospective customers.

· Track real estate activity to identify new homeowners and sales opportunities.

· Follow up on company-generated leads and customer referrals.

· Attend trade shows, community events, and networking opportunities.

· Work closely with delivery and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

· Manage your time effectively in a fast-paced sales environment.

What We're Looking For

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Sales experience preferred but not required - training and coaching provided for motivated candidates.

· Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.

· Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

· Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.

· Comfortable using smartphones, apps, and sales technology.

· Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as business needs require.

· Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to meet company motor vehicle policy requirements.
